Beech Hill Community, Morchard Bishop, Devon

Regular Saturday day retreats

9.45am-4.30/5pm - including lunch and afternoon tea

£35

Next retreats: November 11th, December 9th, 2017

Beech Hill is a beautiful rambling former manor house, which has been home to an intentional community for many years. The house and grounds are stunning - and there is a special atmosphere here. We will be in the large, comfortable Green Room, which overlooks the sweeping lawn at the front of the house. In the winter, there is a woodburner in the room to make it extra cosy!

This is a day for you to recharge your batteries and take time to focus on your creativity, meditate and be nurtured. It is a rare thing to find the time to sit and create mindfully without distractions. You are here to do just that.

The day includes some short guided meditations and periods of silence, as well as the opportunity to relax and enjoy the company of like-minded people. There willl be a wholesome and delicious vegetarian lunch - and to finish we will relax and enjoy an afternoon tea with plenty of cakes on offer - including gluten-free and vegan options.

If you don't have your own project to work on, there are easy communal crafts suitable for beginners - and reasonably priced beginner-level projects to buy.
